Privacy
This page explains what personal information running.gi collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
Running.gi is run by Faye and Phil Morse in Gibraltar. We are responsible for the personal information described here. You can contact us about it at hello@running.gi.
If you sign up for the Race Roundup
We collect your email address, your first name and, if you give it, your last name. We use them only to send you the Race Roundup and to address it to you. We don’t share them with anyone else or use them for anything else.
We send it because you asked us to. You can stop it at any time with the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.
Each email contains a tiny image and links that pass through Keila, so we can see whether you opened it and which links you clicked. We use this to understand how the Race Roundup is read. Keila doesn’t record your IP address or set cookies when it does this.
If you email us
We keep your email and our reply so that we can answer you and pick up the conversation later. We’ll delete them if you ask us to.
When you visit this website
We don’t use analytics or tracking, and the site itself sets no cookies.
Our web host, Netlify, processes the technical information every website receives, such as your IP address, in order to deliver the pages to you.
The signup form uses hCaptcha to check that sign-ups come from people rather than bots. hCaptcha collects information about your device and how you use the page, such as your IP address, and may use cookies.
Who processes information for us
- Keila, a newsletter service based in Germany, stores the subscriber list and sends the Race Roundup. Keila’s privacy policy
- hCaptcha, run by Intuition Machines in the United States, checks the signup form for bots. Information it collects may be processed in the United States. hCaptcha’s privacy policy

- Our email provider stores the emails you send us.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you’re subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you won’t get any more emails, and you can ask us to delete your details completely.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email hello@running.gi.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority, Gibraltar’s data protection regulator, at www.gra.gi.
